Join the Next Generation of Agri Based Entrepreneurs
Food AFrica Accelerator is an accelerator aimed at addressing food security through fostering innovation. The project is commissioned by GIZ Make IT in Africa, a project on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Food AFrica Accelerator is implemented by @iBizAfrica and Pangea Accelerator.
The program is designed to support women and youth owned, agri based enterprises to sustain business growth through facilitating access to financing, business support and technology adoption.
The methodology for the accelerator program will address the following core components of business development
The program will groom participants to have the necessary tools and skills to secure investment from a pre-selected pool of investors.
Experienced coaches will facilitate scheduled or need based mentorship to provide personalized attention in addressing each company’s needs. Coaches also support tailoring growth strategies and pathways.
The program will support entrepreneurs access market linkages through B2B opportunities with leading businesses in the sector.
Entrepreneurs will undergo an intensive period of business evaluation and diagnosis. The curriculum is then tailored to meet the unique needs of each company
The GIZ Make-IT in Africa Tech Entrepreneurship Initiative which promotes digital innovation for sustainable and inclusive development in sub-Saharan Africa on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) as part of BMZ’s Digital Africa Initiative.

The following is the eligibility criteria for the application
1.Women and youth owned post revenue companies in agriculture and related industries
2.The business needs to have an existing working product and generating revenue
3.The founder must be between the ages of 18-35 yrs 4.
4.The business must be based in Kenya
